Our Core Values & Beliefs
We are Jesus Christ centered
We believe that Jesus Christ is our savior and lord. Jesus said that those who have seen Him have seen the Father. Here at this church, everything we know about God we learned from Jesus.
We provide education for all God’s children, young and mature
We place great importance on learning. So we offer classes, Bible studies, and small group discussions to help people gain deeper understanding of God’s word. Psalm 119:105 says that: “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” We believe all people, of every age, need light from God’s word.
We teach the Bible with depth and integrity, rather than being rigid and dogmatic
We believe the Bible teaches that we now live under grace, not under the law. So we love and respect others in the freedom Christ has given us, not submitting again to a yoke of slavery.” (Galatians 5:1)
Our beliefs come first from the example Jesus set in His teaching, death, and resurrection. We build our beliefs upon that cornerstone with instruction from the entirety of the Bible.
we are inclusive and accepting
Jesus loved all people. Therefore no one is excluded from the full acceptance of our church. Jesus drew us to Him. He carried our failures and inadequacies to the cross where he made us right with God for all eternity.
Our Church is built on what Jesus did on the cross where, while we were still sinners, He died for us. Nothing we do can make God love us any more than that. Nothing we do can make God love us any less.
We make a difference in the community
As Jesus offered Himself for others, our church serves others by sharing the good news and expressing God’s love with helpful action.
