Calling All Women!
Meeting Information:
Women in the congregation are the very heartbeat of the church. We meet each month from September through May to plan activities and upcoming events. Membership is open to everyone. In fact, if you attend the Presbyterian Church, you are already a member of PW.

Our History
PW has existed in some form for more than 200 years. The Women’s General Missionary Society of the United Presbyterian Church of North America, formed in 1883, is the earliest predecessor of PW. There are PW groups located at every level of the church and in local congregations throughout the country.
At Nampa church, our PW group:
- elects our own leaders;
- plans and implements a yearly program and determines our own budget;
- organizes and partners with church committees on gatherings participates in PW programming, such as PW/Horizons Bible study, community mission work, rings, or support of special ministries in the congregation and community;
- supports the mission of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) worldwide;
- develops the leadership abilities of women;
- preserves historical records of PW in the Congregation; and
maintains - connections with PW at other governing body levels.
